Welcome to DealzScan. These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of DealzScan and its website, content, deal listings, tools, guides, Deal Score, price information, and related services.
By accessing or using DealzScan, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the site.
1. About DealzScan
DealzScan is a deal-discovery and shopping-information service designed to help users discover and evaluate products, discounts, price drops, sales, and promotions from third-party retailers.
DealzScan may display information such as product names, images, prices, regular or list prices, sale prices, discounts, ratings, review counts, availability, promotions, and Deal Scores when such information is available from permitted sources.
DealzScan does not sell the products displayed on the site unless explicitly stated otherwise. Purchases are generally completed directly with the applicable third-party retailer.
2. Deal and Product Information
DealzScan attempts to provide useful and reasonably current product, price, promotion, and availability information. However, retailer information can change at any time.
Prices, availability, product details, discounts, promotions, shipping costs, taxes, coupon eligibility, and other information displayed on DealzScan may differ from the information shown by the retailer when you visit or complete a purchase.
The retailer's website and checkout process determine the actual price, availability, product specifications, applicable taxes, shipping charges, promotion eligibility, and final terms of purchase.
You should verify important product and pricing information on the retailer's website before purchasing.
DealzScan does not guarantee that every displayed deal, price, promotion, or product will remain available.
3. Deal Score
DealzScan may assign a Deal Score or other ranking to products and deals.
Deal Score is an informational tool designed to help users evaluate potential deals using factors that may include discount depth, dollar savings, retailer information, popularity signals, brand information, and other available data.
A Deal Score is not a guarantee that a product is the best product, the lowest available price, suitable for a particular user, or a good purchase for every shopper.
DealzScan's scoring methodology may evolve as the service, available data, and evaluation methods improve.
Affiliate commissions do not determine a product's Deal Score.
Users should make their own purchasing decisions based on their individual needs and circumstances.
4. Third-Party Retailers and Websites
DealzScan contains links to websites and services operated by third parties.
When you follow a link from DealzScan to a retailer or another third-party website, your use of that website and any purchase you make are governed by that third party's terms, policies, warranties, return policies, shipping policies, and privacy practices.
DealzScan does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, products, services, fulfillment, customer service, warranties, returns, refunds, or business practices.
Any transaction for a third-party product or service is between you and the applicable retailer or service provider.
5. Affiliate Relationships
DealzScan participates in affiliate programs and may receive compensation when users follow certain links and make qualifying purchases or take other qualifying actions.

DealzScan may also participate in other retailer and affiliate-network programs.
The presence of an affiliate relationship does not guarantee that a particular product is recommended, is the lowest-priced option available, or will receive a particular Deal Score.

6. Product Images, Names, Trademarks, and Third-Party Content
Product names, product images, trademarks, service marks, logos, retailer names, and other third-party materials displayed on DealzScan may belong to their respective owners.
Their appearance on DealzScan does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, ownership, or affiliation beyond any applicable retailer, affiliate, advertising, data, or other authorized relationship.
Third-party product information and materials may be displayed subject to the permissions, licenses, feeds, APIs, affiliate-program terms, or other applicable rights under which DealzScan receives or uses that information.
7. DealzScan Content and Intellectual Property
Except for third-party materials, the DealzScan website and its original content, including its branding, site design, original written content, guides, organization, and proprietary features, are owned by or licensed to DealzScan and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may use DealzScan for personal, non-commercial shopping and informational purposes.
You may not reproduce, systematically extract, scrape, republish, distribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit substantial portions of DealzScan's original content or data without permission, except where permitted by applicable law.
8. Acceptable Use

Content on DealzScan does not constitute financial, legal, tax, investment, or other professional advice.
10. No Warranties
DealzScan is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
While DealzScan aims to provide useful and accurate information, DealzScan does not warrant that the site will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or current, or that all product, price, discount, availability, promotion, rating, review, or other information will be accurate at all times.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, DealzScan and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from or related to your use of DealzScan, reliance on information displayed on the site, use of third-party websites, or purchases made from third-party retailers.
DealzScan is not responsible for losses resulting from price changes, expired promotions, product unavailability, retailer errors, incorrect third-party information, shipping issues, product quality, retailer fulfillment, returns, refunds, or other matters controlled by third parties.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
12. Availability and Changes to the Service
DealzScan may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, deal listings, retailer coverage, data sources, scoring methods, categories, or other portions of the service at any time.
DealzScan does not guarantee that any particular retailer, product, deal, feature, or service will remain available.
13. Changes to These Terms
DealzScan may update these Terms of Use as the service evolves or as legal, operational, affiliate-program, retailer, or regulatory requirements change.
When these Terms are materially updated, the effective date shown on this page should be updated.
Continued use of DealzScan after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of Canada and the laws of the province in which the operator of DealzScan is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
Users may also have rights under the laws applicable in their own province, state, territory, or country that cannot be waived by these Terms.
